We're so excited to be new parents and so grateful that our family and friends want to support us in this journey. We wanted to add some notes on the registry below, which we know is a bit untraditional! Much of this is education and support focused, because we're taking this big step into starting our own family while we're 2600 miles from our families and main support systems. We'll be very glad when our families make the trek to come visit us to help for a few weeks, but we'll also rely on these lessons and communities to help us get comfortable as new parents.
Stroller: We think we've found the perfect stroller for our city lifestyle, and found that there are plenty of used ones in great condition available to purchase secondhand via friends and coworkers! We'd prefer this to save on the cost and upcycle (yep we live in California now and are basically hippies).
Night Nurse: We've been recommended a night nurse that works with infants to do sleep training and can really help first time mom's and dad's get the sleep they need. This is one our most desired gifts as it will really help us adjust to our new lifestyle.
Classes: We've been offered a number of courses at CEDARS SINAI, the hostital where we will deliver the baby, as well as THE PUMP STATION and PLAY2PROGRESS which are places close to our home that offer support and education for new parents!
