Dearest Pat and family,
I was fortunate enough to work for your sister, Mary Kay and had the pleasure of meeting you once or twice. My husband and I spent several summers at the Surf Club at Breezy when our girls were young and being there continues to be their fondest childhood memory. My husband is a NYC Sanitation worker and was there 2 weeks ago and saw the devastation first hand. He texted me while working that he wanted to cry. Please know you and all the others are in our thoughts and prayers, but I know you will all get through this and rebuild. We too lost everything in a house fire in 1991, a month before our daughter was born, so please know life does go on and there are good things ahead. God Bless - Liz Murphy

Pat, you don't know us and we don't know you, but we know that you are very important to our good friends, Peter and Cathy. Therefore, we care very much about you and all the others like you who have lost so much. Just know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Pat, what words can I say that would make everything okay. Unfortunately, there are none. I always loved coming down to the beach to see my sister & her family when they came in to visit. My grandson's loved it when they visited & Anthony was very upset seeing those horrible pictures. We all love you. Carol
I have fond memories of my first visit to New York with my friend Cathy Rail. We stayed at your lovely home in Breezy you were so generous and kind to me. Now is my chance to repay you for your kindness . May the love and help from family, friends, neighbors and others help you during this time. You are in our prayers. Barbara Mullins

Dear Pat, I know this is the last thing you want - for people to donate to you, but you are always there for everybody. All our friends, and our kids' friends have said, "Oh no, Aunt Pat? How can we help?" We love you, so just say thanks. Till we meet again at 3 Fulton Walk. Love, Cathy and Peter
